iPad Pro and iPad Air will receive an update — but it doesn't look like they'll arrive in April as previously thought.

If you've been waiting for the new iPad Pro, you might not have to wait long. A new report suggests that the iPad Pro, along with the iPad Air, could receive an update in May.

Sources told Bloomberg that future iPad Pro models will feature all-new OLED displays. These models were codenamed J717, J718, J720 and J721. In addition, they will be powered by the new M3 chip and will be compatible with new versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.

Apple is set to update not only the iPad Pro, but also the iPad Air. The iPad Air will receive a new processor and expand the iPad Air line with the 12.9-inch iPad Air, similar to the iPad Pro.

Bloomberg notes that Apple was likely targeting a March release as usual, but faced delays due to a new OLED manufacturing process.
