Proton launches open-source, end-to-end encrypted password manager for businesses

Last year, Proton introduced its secure password manager to the general public, and it is now available to businesses. The company calls Proton Pass For Business “your team's Swiss password vault.” It is open source like the consumer version of Proton Pass and offers end-to-end encryption, easy import from any other software, phishing protection, admin tools and more.

Proton Pass for Business is a dedicated password manager for teams. We designed our interface to be intuitive, and our community appreciates the ease of use of the Pass apps. This will not only reduce onboarding headaches, but will also allow employees to actually use it for its intended purpose.

Here are some key features of Proton Pass For Business:

Proton Pass For Business has two levels: “Pass Business”; and Pass Basics.

Typically priced at $5.99 per month per user and $3.99 per month per user. The company is offering a 50% discount at launch to permanently lock in the price at $2.99 ​​per month or $1.99 per month per user.
