Apple will officially provide support for the previous version of Apple Home in the fall of 2025. Apple says that users will need to update the new Homekit architecture by that time to avoid breaks with accessories and automation. The architecture was originally introduced in March 2023 along with iOS 16.4, iPados 16.4 and MacOS Ventura 13.3, but there were some problems with stability that could prevent updating some users. In fact, this actually happened briefly in December 2022, but there were problems with missing devices, invitations to the exchange of a house that did not work, problems with safe Homekit video and much more, so Apple removed it until 2023. Architecture and problems were resolved, but it is worth noting that architecture breaks the support of the house for home on devices in which users will be updated by older versions of iOS, iPados and MacOS.
