Photoscope is a new app for iPhone and Apple Vision Pro that lets you clean up your photo library and find the best shots.

Leitmotif, the team behind Kaleidoscope and Mac Versions, has released a brand new photo management tool. Photoscope has just been released on iPhone and Apple Vision Pro (possibly for the first time in this combination with a new app). The point is, it can help you clean out your massive photo library and rediscover your best shots. And let's start with the fact that it's completely free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Leitmotif explains how Photoscope can help you:

1. Discover a series of photos and use a familiar interface.

2. Guides you through the fastest possible process of finding the only option for a series.

3. You can then share or favorite the selection, and remove any deleted photos from the series.

As for why they're launching together first on iPhone and Apple Vision Pro, they explain:

We've needed a product like Photoscope for a long time. This winter we had the perfect opportunity to create our first native app for Apple Vision Pro while scratching that itch. So we couldn't resist.

And while Leitmotif is free to start, it doesn't make you a product. Instead, they explain that future features can be monetized and your data is completely private. Although it's free, the best way to support their work is to share Photoscope if you like it and check out their other apps:

Let more people know about the app. Publish on social networks, share the application with friends and family. If you like Photoscope, please leave a review on the App Store. This helps us a lot! If you have any complaints about Photoscope, please contact us and let us know. If you'd like to support our work, take a look at our other products: Kaleidoscope and Versions. You might need them.

iPad and Mac support is finally on their radar. Meanwhile, you have to appreciate their efforts to bring this experience to Apple Vision Pro from the very beginning. A great app experience ultimately determines how useful Apple's spatial computer can be. Photoscope looks like a great addition to the platform.

Download Photoscope for free from the App Store on your iPhone or Apple Vision Pro.
