Apple has developed a free repair program for any Mac minis chips, which are no longer included. Here's how to see if you have the right.
The company announced in a new notice of repair that it determined that the “very small percentage” of Mac Minis with chips M2 made from June 16 to November 23, 2024.
, the owners who experience the problem can use the page checking the serial number on the Apple website to determine whether their Mac mini has the right to repair. If this will be entitled, the repair will be made for free.
The serial number can be determined by checking the lower part of the device or checking the source packaging of the product. It can be extracted from the element “About this Mac” Apple Menu & Mdash; But this is hardly an option if the problem affects you.
If the user has a serial number that corresponds to them for the program, they can plan and meet with any authorized supplier of Apple or Apple Retail Store services.

The new repair program is available for Mac Mini qualification models within three years after the first retail sale of the device, Apple reports. The company notes that the World Program does not expand the standard warranty coating of the user's Mac mini.
