TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo outlined his predictions for color options for the upcoming iPhone 16 lineup in the fall of 2024.

In a post to X, Ming-Chi Kuo predicted which colors Apple will choose for the upcoming iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.

He believes that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will retain the same color options as the existing iPhone 15 lineup, with one exception. Black, green, pink and blue should be similar to existing options.

Kuo believes that the current pale yellow color in current variants will be replaced by what he calls “white.” It's possible that this color is what Apple calls “Starlight,” a whitish-gold hue.

For the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, Kuo expects to see Natural Titanium, Black Titanium, and White Titanium options, as they currently are on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. . However, the current “Blue Titanium” variant will be dropped.

In his opinion, it will be replaced by a new version “Rose Titanium”. Kuo hedges his bets by noting that Apple could rename existing color options, even if they're the same shade as before.

His forecast may indicate that he does not expect significant changes to the overall external design of at least the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max models. AppleInsider previously reported that Apple may be planning to give each model in the iPhone 16 line its own case size.

The iPhone 16 is rumored to retain the traditional 6.1-inch screen size, while the Plus will remain with a 6.7-inch screen size. However, the iPhone 16 Pro's screen size will increase to 6.3 inches, and the Pro Max's to 6.9 inches.

Apple will unveil the iPhone 16 lineup during an event in September.
