Augmented reality shopping gets a boost with Best Buy's Apple Vision Pro app

Best Buy Launches Apple Vision Pro App for Augmented Reality Shopping

Best Buy launched an augmented reality app designed specifically for Apple's newest wearable device, the Apple Vision Pro, which offers real-time product previews.

The app, called Best Buy Envision, is designed to improve the way consumers buy electronics and home goods, Best Buy said Thursday. With advanced augmented reality (AR) capabilities, users can visualize products in their living spaces.

The app allows consumers to see how a product would realistically look in their space in terms of size, style and color before making a purchase. The app displays products in 3D and provides important information such as ratings, reviews and prices, making it a comprehensive shopping tool.

One of the standout features of the Best Buy Envision app is the ability to shop directly through the app. With one tap, users can select a product in AR and make a purchase, enhancing the online shopping experience and giving them choice.

“Best Buy Envision is another way to use innovative technology to humanize consumer electronics like no other,” said Brian Tilzer, Chief Digital, Analytics and Technology Officer at Best Buy. “The app allows our customers to see live what technology will look and feel like right in their home, providing an immersive and personalized shopping experience.”

The new Best Buy app adds useful new shopping features to Apple Vision Pro. The platform is growing slowly, and the attention of large companies will help its development.
