Although Apple is not planning to host a traditional in-person WWDC event this year, the company will invite select developers and students to attend a special event at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
On Monday, June 10, Apple will host a keynote viewing party where attendees will be able to watch pre-recorded recordings. presentation of new software updates. Apple also promises “exciting new programming,” opportunities to meet Apple experts and other “special events.”
Last year's special event offered developers and students refreshments in the morning, followed by a key event. State of the Platforms followed, and there were two Apple Park tours to choose from. The day concluded with the Apple Design Awards and evening dinner.
Please note that there will be a reception on Sunday, June 9 at Apple's Infinite Loop campus where attendees can pick up their badges in advance.

Until 2020, the Worldwide Developers Conference was an in-person event held in San Jose, California. The developers had to pay $1,599 for a ticket to attend, and the number of seats was limited. Starting in 2020, Apple turned WWDC into an online event open to all developers, but in Apple Park Small in-person events were held. starting in 2022.
Lottery choice
Apple invites a limited number of developers and students to Apple Park for a special event, and participants will be selected by lottery.
Who is eligible to participate
Participants in the current Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program may apply to participate , as well as Apple Entrepreneur Camp graduates and Swift Student Challenge winners from 2022 to 2024.
The 350 winners of the Swift Student Challenge will be announced on Thursday 28 March. 50 honorary winners will be invited to a special three-day experience that includes a special event on June 10.
Both adults and children ages 13 to 17 can apply, but children must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
How to register for an Apple special event
Those eligible to enter the sweepstakes can do so on the Apple developer website through the special event request page. Apple is accepting applications until 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 3.
Participants randomly selected will be informed of their status by the end of the day on Thursday, April 4.
Costs
Attend a special event at Apple Park There is no additional cost, but Apple does not cover shipping costs. Participants from other states will need to purchase plane tickets, stay at nearby hotels, and find a way to get to Apple Park on the day of the event.
Media
In addition to inviting developers and students, Apple will likely extend invitations to select members of the media. Invitation for the media to visit Apple Park The event has not yet taken place.
WWDC Details
WWDC 2024 will take place from Monday, June 10th to Friday, June 14th. Developers who are not selected to attend can watch the main event on June 10th on the Apple website or on YouTube.
