Famous London’s Battersea Power Station is home to Apple UK and now a giant Wallace & Gromit movie shot on iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Apple has moved its UK headquarters to the London landmark, alongside the opening of the Apple Battersea store there in 2023. The building is famous for its tall towers, and now the Wallace & Gromit Christmas special is being projected onto Battersea Power Station and the towers.
“Wallace & Gromit are a much-loved and iconic duo, and we’re thrilled that they’ll be lighting up Battersea Power Station for Londoners this year,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “It’s fantastic to see the craftsmanship and ingenuity of Aardman and how they’ve used the most advanced iPhone we’ve ever made to create something so joyful.”

The film sees Wallace projected onto one tower and Gromit projected onto the other. They both hold presents and stand in front of a Christmas tree that stretches to the top of the towers.
“This project was a dream come true for the director – a cinematic fusion of technology and art,” said Gavin Strange, director and lead graphic designer at Aardman. “Shooting stop motion animation on the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the iconic Wallace and Gromit, and then projecting it onto the iconic Battersea Power Station, makes this unique in so many ways.”
“I hope everyone feels inspired this Christmas to start shooting their own stop motion masterpieces on iPhone,” he continued, “and I’m thrilled and proud of what we’ve all created.”
The films will air from 5pm to 10.30pm local time every day until New Year's Day.
