VisionOS 1.0.2 is now the latest Apple Vision Pro software.

Apple Vision Pro now has a new software update coming to customers on Friday. VisionOS 1.0.2 is now the current version of the software released by Apple.

As with VisionOS 1.0.1, there's not a lot of useful information here, but we'll at least get to see the software update process in action on Friday. Apple is obviously working on bugs and improvements between production and shipping.

Update: Yes, VisionOS 1.0.2 fixes a vulnerable WebKit bug before Vision Pro launches.

Looking beyond Day 1 and heading towards WWDC 2024, VisionOS 2.0 comes to mind. What will this entail if Apple announces it at WWDC in June?

As for the Apple Watch, Apple announced watchOS 2 in June after what was then called Watch OS 1 shipped with first-generation hardware. View OS 1.0.1 released about a month after the release of the first Apple Watch hardware, putting the Vision Pro even further ahead of its time.
