You can't ask Siri what time it is on HomePod

U HomePod is having trouble understanding a simple request, “What time is it?” right now. Apple will probably fix this soon.
Siri users know that you can ask many basic queries that produce simple results. One common request is to ask Siri for the time, which is useful if the user doesn't see a clock nearby.
However, on Tuesday, social media users began to report that Siri's question about the time on HomePod gives a completely different answer. In many cases, Siri seems to think that users want to know about web results.
Rooting for Apple in this art, but my current HomePod status:
“Siri, what is it time?”
“I found some results online and can show them to you if you ask again on your iPhone”

These allegations were confirmed by members of the AppleInsider editorial team, who were repeatedly reported by Siri about the incorrect result. Siri often suggested the opening line on the Wikipedia page “What Time Is It?” (song)” instead of the actual time.
“'What time is it?' is the opening musical number and first single from the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical 2,” Siri said many times. For others, she missed list and said that more search results are available through the iPhone.
Siri on iPhone, iPad and Mac is not affected by this problem and displays local time as usual
It appears that Apple has to. address the issue on its servers rather than on the HomePod itself. It's likely that Apple will quickly fix the problem in the near future without the need to release an update.
