Following Tesla last month, Rivian is now rolling out Control Center widget support to iPhone users running iOS 18.
As reported by RivianTrackr, the Rivian iPhone app appears to offer a set of five different controls. Once added to Control Center, these options allow you to perform common tasks with just one tap.
- Lock/Unlock
- Hood
- Climate
- Tailgate
- Windows
Rivian has been rapidly adopting popular iPhone features. The company added Live Activity support back in February, and the second-generation R1T and R1S EVs also support Apple’s Car Key platform. The glaring omission, of course, is CarPlay support, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change.
iOS 18 brings a major overhaul to Control Center, giving you more flexibility in customizing the layout and structure of your experience. With the new update, you can now have multiple pages in Control Center, as well as support for third-party apps like Rivian.
The latest version of the Rivian app is available in the App Store.
