According to numerous reports on X, people are unable to send and receive iMessages. However, the service is still working for some users, meaning not everyone is affected by the outage.
Apple's System Status web page does not indicate that any of its services are experiencing problems this evening. However, based on social media posts, it's clear that something is going on with iMessage.
