New Apple Stores to Open in the U.S. This Year in the Following Locations

New Apple Stores aren't opening as frequently as they used to, but Apple continues to open retail stores both in the U.S. and around the world. Here are the stores planned to open this year in the U.S., plus an overview of Apple's plans abroad.

Three new U.S. Apple Stores expected to open in 2025

This weekend, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman published an overview of Apple's 2025 store lineup.

While Gurman's focus was on hardware launches, he also detailed the company's plans for new Apple Stores in the U.S. and around the world.

There are only three new stores planned for the U.S.

Apple Miami Worldcenter
Apple Bradley Fair at a mall in Wichita, Kansas
and “possibly” in downtown Detroit

Gurman notes that the existing Apple Store in Ann Arbor, Michigan, could also move and “get an update.”

While the first two sound certain — and Miami Worldcenter has already been announced as opening on January 24 — Gurman isn't so sure about the Detroit location just yet.

It's a short list that likely reflects both changing trends as more shoppers shop online and Apple's focus on other markets outside the U.S.

Plans for Global Apple Store Debuts

Looking beyond the U.S. market, Gurman gets a little less specific, but highlights the various territories Apple is targeting.

He mentions that the first Apple Store of the year will open on January 18 in Hefei, China. It will be located in the MixC shopping mall.

There are also plans for new openings in at least six countries. New stores or relocation projects will be coming to:

Australia
Canada
China (including Shanghai and Beijing)
France
Germany
India

There are no further details available at this time. But we'll keep you updated as Apple makes official announcements about its retail store openings throughout the year.
