All of us at AppleInsider wish you a happy and peaceful holiday season, and thank you for reading us through a turbulent 2024.
Every year for the past 25 years has been a big one for Apple, and you’d expect that from a company its size. It released the Apple Vision Pro, joined the AI arms race with Apple Intelligence, and even found time to release new products like the iPhone 16.
As the end of the year approaches, the Apple News cycle is temporarily winding down, but AppleInsider won’t be resting. We’ll be with you throughout the holidays, sharing the latest news and using our expertise to discuss how the news of the day impacts our favorite company as it happens.
It's also a time when the editorial team is doing a lot of prep work for CES 2025, which kicks off the year. As usual, AppleInsider will be on the show floor, looking at new products that their creators say will be the future of the industry.
Of course, this time of year is dominated by more pressing events for many people as they deal with the Apple products they received as gifts. Millions of people will receive a new iPhone, Apple Watch, or maybe some AirPods as a gift from others or even for themselves.
Whether you need help setting up your new hardware — or the likely scenario that you’ll have to become the family tech support guy again — we have guides on setting up your new devices that we update all the time.
As the year prepares to turn to 2025, AppleInsider is, as always, looking to the future. It’s been 27 years since our founding, and AppleInsider has evolved many times to serve its readership as the tech news landscape has changed.
With everyone on our editorial team, we have more than a century of Apple hardware experience to draw on. From the newest releases to some of the oldest pieces of the company’s history, we’ve got it all.
It’s one thing to have all this knowledge, but getting it out to the people who need it most has been a fickle challenge. Google’s algorithm changes, social media’s volatile relationship with the media, and journalistic shifts have us and almost everyone else in tech news constantly shifting our battle plans.
We’re already making changes to meet these new challenges, but you can always have your say on what we do. Over the next two weeks, we’ll discuss how we work and what we work with, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our offices around the world.
And you can join the discussions on the AppleInsider forums to express your thoughts on the past year, learn from other readers, and make new friends while much of the tech world takes a breather.
As always, we'll see you in the comments, on the forums, on social media, on YouTube, and in our Discord, now and in 2025.
