For someone who has an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods Pro, an easy way to charge them is a must. If you often work in cafes, airports or hotels, you know the pain of remembering chargers. Thanks to the iPhone 15's USB-C, this is somewhat easier, but that assumes you've also updated your AirPods. With the LISEN 3 in 1 Charging Station, you can simply make it a portable charging station to keep everything charged.
Unboxing and Teardown
When you first unbox it, you almost think there's something missing (an Apple Watch part), but it's actually on the underside of the device. I like this design choice because if you just need to charge your iPhone or AirPods, you won't be left with an extra Apple Watch charger. When completely broken down, it's only a couple inches thick and can easily fit into any pocket of your bag (or even your back pants pocket).
You can charge your iPhone while it is lying flat or at an angle. If it lies flat, you'll want to charge your AirPods at the same time, but it's flexible enough to work for a variety of use cases. Whether you want to take it with you on a train or plane, sit it down during a trip and watch a movie, it will keep it at the perfect angle.
It comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable for charging. However, the package does not include a charging brick. However, it cannot be charged using a laptop charger. You will need to use a dedicated charger that is greater than 18W. Personally, I wish it included a USB-C to USB-C cable with a charger.
Summation
The LISEN 3 in 1 Charging Station is one of the best MagSafe docking stations that I've used it and I like its portability. It's so convenient that it can sit on your desk at all times, but it's also portable enough to take on the go and power all your devices. Even as a portable charger for AirPods and iPhones, this is a great device, but if you add an Apple Watch charger, this device becomes even better. Your AirPods can be charged using either the top or back charger. This is simply one of the most compact 3 in 1 chargers on the market. The only negative I found with this device is that larger iPhones have a hard time holding the device perfectly flat on a table when placed vertically.
