Logitech releases keyboard cases for new iPad Air and iPad Pro models

By Julie Clover

Popular accessory maker Logitech this week announced new keyboard cover options designed for the Apple iPad Air and iPad Pro models, offering an alternative to Apple's more expensive Magic Keyboard options.

Logitech Combo Touch is compatible with ‌iPad Air‌ both sizes; and two thin and light ‌iPad Pro‌ models. Logitech says the Logitech Combo Touch is its lightest keyboard to date, increasing portability and reducing bulk added to your tablet.

The Combo Touch comes with a detachable keyboard and flexible stand for multiple use modes. It can be used for typing in standard keyboard mode, or folded so you can draw, read, and use the Apple Pencil.

There's a multi-touch trackpad, which Logitech says offers intuitive and precise typing and navigation. The keys are automatically backlit in a standard layout and have sixteen brightness levels. Keyboard shortcuts provide easy access to adjust volume, play media, take screenshots, and more. Plus, there's a smart connector so there's no need to use Bluetooth.

Combo Touch for 11-inch ‌ iPad Air‌ costs $200, and the Combo Touch for the 13-inch model costs $230. ‌iPad Pro‌ versions cost $230 and $260, respectively, for the 11-inch and 13-inch models. Keyboards can be purchased on the Logitech website.
