iPad Air screens, complaints about Spotify and TikTok ban on the AppleInsider podcast

You may never see so many FineWoven cases again

On this week's episode of the AppleInsider podcast The US cares about its companies, the EU cares about Spotify, and Korea wants to help Samsung. And we've got new iPads to look forward to, as well as FineWoven cases to collect while we still can.

This is a week of countries taking care of themselves and their companies, this is a week of global politics — and it was also a week of comings and goings. For example, the 12.9-inch iPad Air, which can do both as the size is still rumored to be right, but promised display improvements may be months away.

Listen to the new episode here.

Also, Apple is reportedly struggling to get FIFA's soccer rights, whatever that means, and Spotify is trying to get a free lunch. And if you thought Epic Games' beef with Apple was long over, you'd be right, but the two are back in court over minor details. Or perhaps details of the fine.

Also, there may be a calculator app on the iPad, but this may not be a big deal. And FineWoven covers may well be gone forever.
