Fantastical Calendar App Expands to Windows

Eric Slivka

Popular calendar app Fantastical is breaking out of the Apple ecosystem for the first time, bringing all of Fantastical's power to Windows. Windows support has long been a highly requested feature, primarily by Apple users who need to use Windows for work, software accessibility, or other reasons, which is why Flexibits has spent the last three years building Fantastical for Windows from the ground up for a completely native experience.

While Apple's Calendar app has improved significantly in recent years, the award-winning Fantastical remains popular as a third-party option thanks to its support for natural language analysis, the ability to manage tasks and reminders from Google Tasks, Microsoft 365, and Todoist, scheduling features like Discoveries, which lets you open up time slots on your calendar for other people to book, and Suggestions, which lets organizers poll potential attendees to determine the best time for an event. visual weather information tied to the location of the event, and much more.

Fantastical for Windows comes as part of Fantastical 4.0, which is available for free with limited features on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Unlocking all features requires a Flexibits Premium subscription at $6.99 per month or $56.99 per year (14-day free trial available), and the new Windows app is covered by the same subscription at no increase in price. Flexibits Premium for Families gives up to five family members full access to Fantastical on all platforms for $10.49 per month or $89.99 per year.

Also included with the Flexibits Premium subscription is a full feature unlock for Cardhop, an alternative Contacts app that works on all Apple platforms with natural language analysis, widgets, keyboard shortcut support, easily exchange contact cards, scan business cards and more.
