After the rest of the iPad lineup gets refreshes in 2024, the cheapest model is expected to get a refresh in spring 2025.

The regular iPad was last refreshed in October 2022, and this 10th-generation model was cut to $349 in May 2024. It's now the last iPad to get a refresh, but according to Bloomberg, the 11th-generation iPad is coming in the spring.

The iPad is said to have at least a similar design to the 10th generation. It will be faster, however, although it's unknown what processor it will use.

The 11th-generation iPad will likely launch around the same time as the new iPad Air and the expected iPhone SE 4.

This would mean there would be less than a year between iPad Air updates. The iPad Pro isn鈥檛 expected to get a similar update cycle, and will instead likely be updated with the M5 processor in late 2025 or early 2026.

Separately, it was recently stated that the iPad mini would be updated to use an OLED display. However, this isn鈥檛 expected until at least 2026.
