Gamers can now play Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile” on iPhone and iPad, and the popular first-person shooter is available for download on the App Store.

After more than a year of pre-orders and a schedule update in early March, the March 21st release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will renew the Activision franchise on mobile devices.

The Battle Royale-style shooter features up to 120 players in a single match who team up to take on other squads and become the last team or operator standing. After initially landing and parachuting to the ground, players must seek out weapon upgrades and materials to better counter the opponents who are pursuing them.

Like the PC and console versions of Call of Duty: Warzone, the mobile edition includes the fan-favorite map of Verdansk, which combines wide-open environments with urban areas. It is also joined by Rebirth Island, which offers an alternative Battle Royale experience on a larger map.

While players can be eliminated in the game, Gulag provides a second chance: fighting one-on-one with another fallen player can result in being re-deployed into battle.

Made for mobile gaming

Players benefit from cross-platform progression as they can level up their weapons and advance their Battle Pass progress on both desktop and console versions simultaneously. Likewise, unlocked operators, weapons, and other items can be moved between platforms.

Friend lists and chat channels are also cross-platform, allowing players to keep in touch with their constant comrades.

For mobile gameplay, the game has been redesigned to provide a better experience for touch screen players. Movement, aiming and weapon handling have been optimized for mobile devices, as well as physics, animation and sound. For console players, there is the option to connect a Bluetooth controller to your iPhone or iPad.

Returning players won't necessarily have the easiest time logging into accounts, as they'll have to deal with the Call of Duty account system.

When trying to play the game on an iPad Pro, logging into my account proved problematic, in part due to the inability to easily log in with other linked accounts. Resetting the main account password was also difficult, but that was the only stumbling block in the game.

When entering the game, players are asked questions about their gaming experience, whether they have played a mobile first-person shooter before, and whether they would like to immediately download or obtain a higher quality graphics package. broadcast over time.

They are then sent straight to a short training session and then to a practice match. After the second practice match, players are given full access to all game features.

In actual gameplay, primary movement control is performed with the left thumb when sprinting. The right thumb controls direction, as well as crouching, jumping, weapon selection, and aiming.

One of the convenient mechanics is the automatic fire function: the weapon shoots at the targeting reticle when the enemy deviates in front of it. This is useful when used with a limited touchscreen interface, although manual shooting is also available.
