Eighteen minutes after Apple began accepting pre-orders for the new Apple Vision Pro headset, inventory was sold out and delivery dates began to slip—ultimately by months.

This does not mean that Apple is going to prevent anyone from ordering Apple Vision Pro, but anyone trying now does it will wait to get it. Customers who entered immediately after pre-orders opened at 5am PT (8am ET) will receive their headsets on February 2, 2024, but almost immediately the shipping date began to push back.
After two hours of pre-orders orders, Apple Vision Pro delivery dates were given as March, and in some cases even April.
