Apple today released tvOS 17.3, the third major update to the tvOS 17 operating system released last September. tvOS 17.3 comes a month after tvOS 17.2, an update that brought a revamped Apple TV app.
tvOS 17.3 can be downloaded using the Settings app on Apple TV. Go to System > Software update to get new software. Owners of Apple TV who have automatic software updates enabled will be automatically upgraded to tvOS 17.3.
tvOS updates are typically minor in scope compared to other operating system updates, focusing on bug fixes and small improvements. rather than noticeable external changes. There were no new features discovered during beta testing of tvOS 17.3.
Apple publishes tvOS release notes in its tvOS Support document, which is updated with each new version of tvOS.
