Apple Podcasts' Top 2024 Charts Reveal What Everyone's Listening To

Apple has released a list of the most popular shows listened to on Apple Podcasts in 2024, with “The Daily” taking the top spot for the year in the United States.

Apple regularly releases annual charts for its various content services, giving insight into what the world is listening to on their iPhones and other devices. On Tuesday, Apple released its Apple Podcasts lists for 2024.

The annual charts are offered in nearly 100 countries and regions and appear in the Browse tab in Apple Podcasts until the end of the year. The regional charts provide details on the top podcasts overall, the best new shows, the most popular shows, the most shared shows and episodes, and the best free and subscription channels.

Listeners in more than 15 markets can also check out Shows We Love on their iPhone and iPad, a curated collection of Apple’s standout series from this year.

That’s not all, as Apple will reveal Show of the Year on December 3.

The results for the United States saw The Daily as the top show, while The Tucker Carlson Show was named best new show of the year. Serial won best series, and Crime Junkie won best episode about “The Alphabet Murders.”

The most shows were from Huberman Lab, and the most popular episode was The Tucker Carlson Show, which discussed Ozempic. The Joe Rogan Experience had the most subscribers, Apple News+ Narrated had the most subscribers, and Wondery had the most channels.
