I generally like Apple News Plus. I get great article recommendations, advertising is fairly limited/doesn't ruin the reading experience, and it allows me to support publishers like it's worth it.

Right now that's a great way read the Wall Street Journal without paying for a more expensive subscription.

This CIRP study surveyed Apple device owners, not all consumers, and the firm did not share its sample. size.

Also unclear is the ratio of Apple News+ subscribers who pay $12.99 separately to those who get News+ with the $32.99 Apple One package.

But while nearly 1/4 of Apple's US customers pay for News+, the CIRP report shows, the company highlights that publishers gain “tens of millions of users” by becoming part of Apple's service.
