Apple Music has released the full list of the 100 best albums of all time, according to its employees, music experts and stars — and like all best album lists, it's controversial.
Even though the list was announced on May 13, 2024, Apple recognized — and even greeted — the inevitable controversy this was bound to cause.

This is at least a comprehensive list, spanning decades and many genres of music, and it will prompt more people to listen to these important albums. Each of the 100 albums is, of course, available to stream on Apple Music, plus Apple has created a mini-site that provides biographical information about the albums and the bands who created them.
