Apple Music Classical Now Available in CarPlay

Apple Music Classical

Apple Music Classical users will now have an easier time listening to their favorite music while driving, as it is now added to CarPlay.

Classical music listeners can use both Apple Music and Apple Music Classical to discover and listen to songs. However, only Apple Music was included in CarPlay, so users were forced to use the main app to access classical music while driving.

In an update on Tuesday, Apple made Apple Music Classical available for use in CarPlay. The integration means users can access their library, playlists, and other recommendations from the Apple Music Classical app itself within the CarPlay interface.

You can also ask Siri to search in CarPlay for composers, artists, pieces, and instruments in Apple Music Classical in different languages.

The update follows other changes to Apple Music Classical in recent months. These include the addition of a Recently Added section, thousands of album booklets, and a weekly Top 100 chart.

Apple Music Classical is free for Apple Music subscribers.
