Apple hands over third beta version of watchOS 10.4 to developers

Apple today made the third beta version of the upcoming watchOS 10.4 update available to developers for testing purposes. The beta version will be released a week after the release of the second beta version of watchOS 10.4.


To install ‌watchOS 10.4‌ update, developers need to open the Apple Watch app and go to Software Update under General. in settings and enable watchOS 10 Developer beta. An Apple ID associated with a developer account is required.

Once activated, watchOS 10.4 beta updates will be available for download in the same Software Update section. To install the software, Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery charge and be placed on the Apple Watch charger.

watchOS 10.4 includes new emoji symbols such as lime, edible brown mushroom, and phoenix. , broken chain, vertical head shake (as in “yes”) and horizontal head shake (“no”).

There is also a Vision Pro setting to disable double tap. feature on the Apple Watch, as hand gestures can get in the way.
