Apple will soon move into a 45,000-square-foot office in Coral Gables, south of Miami, and a new store is expected to open nearby.

Apple Park is a huge office building housing 12,000 employees, but it's not the only place where Apple does business. The company has corporate offices throughout the United States, and it appears another major office may be opening soon.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple occupies 45,000 square feet of an office building in Coral Gables, located south of Miami, Florida. The information came from anonymous sources familiar with the situation; no other details were provided.

Apple may also be considering opening a new Apple Store at the $4 billion Worldcenter complex in Miami. It will join nine other retail locations in the Miami area.

The company is gradually expanding its presence on the East Coast. There are also plans to build a massive 700,000-square-foot campus in North Carolina, but it appears to be stuck in construction limbo.

There is already a small office in Miami that deals with business in Latin America and advertising in the App Store. There is no news on what the new office space will be used for.
