Apple Donates to Spain Flood Relief

Tim Cook

CEO Tim Cook said Apple will donate to relief efforts following the catastrophic flooding in Valencia, Spain.

After heavy rainfall hit Valencia, Spain, the region experienced what may be the deadliest flooding in modern Spanish history. More than a year's worth of rain fell in just eight hours, destroying bridges and buildings and killing at least 95 people in the area.

In response, Cook said the company would help fund local relief efforts.

Apple has pledged to fund several disaster-related efforts in recent history. In September, the company pledged to donate to Hurricane Helen relief efforts.

In October, Apple pledged to donate an undisclosed amount to Hurricane Milton relief efforts.
