Apple Vision Pro users will soon be able to enjoy another piece of immersive video. In the Apple TV app, Apple says a new episode of Immersive Prehistoric Planet will be available on April 19.
When Vision Pro launched in February, it offered several different immersive video experiences: “The Adventure,” “Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room,” “ Immersive Prehistoric Planet” and “Wild Life”. Earlier this week, Apple released a new 5-minute immersive video highlighting the 2023 MLS season on Apple Vision Pro.
Apple says the new episode of “Prehistoric Planet” will be six minutes long and will offer a fascinating look at the Triceratops forest. “Deep in the forest, a curious baby Triceratops learns about family ties,” he says. Apple says. This is the second new immersive video release since the launch of Vision Pro.
This is currently the only new piece of immersive video currently announced in the Apple TV app for Vision Pro. What's next for this format remains to be seen, but I'm hoping for something juicier than another five-minute clip.
