A new leak accurately details the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max may have the thinnest bezels on a smartphone.
Apple's September update to its iPhone lineup is currently expected to include an increase in the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max to 6.9 inches. This increase in size could potentially be facilitated by boundary reduction.
According to a tweet posted on Wednesday by serial leaker Ice Universe, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will measure 163.024 mm by 77.575 mm and will be 8.26 mm thick. The screen size is expected to be 6.883 inches, which is in line with previous rumors.
However, the presenter adds that there will be a frame of the same width on all sides of the display – 1.153 mm. The total thickness of the bezel, including the middle frame, is expected to be 2.146 mm.

For comparison, the presenter says the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 1.55mm thick frame and an overall frame width of 3.38mm.
“The iPhone 16 Pro Max will be the world's closest smartphone to a sci-fi form factor without borders,” says the presenter.
This tweet is a further clarification of another message from a whistleblower on June 3rd. At the time, a source apparently told them that the iPhone 16 Pro would reduce the bezel size and become “the world's narrowest bezel smartphone.” “
Among leakers, Ice Universe has a good reputation for displays. In 2020, they said the iPhone 13 would have a smaller notch.
