It is Apple that will have to correspond to these new tariff costs, although Trump returned to falsely say that “Vietnam will pay.” Currently, there are two tariffs for goods imported from the country, including 20%, which Apple will have to pay.
there is an alternative 40% tariff called transitional, which American firms should have paid if the goods arose outside Vietnam before sending from there. While the production of Apple in Vietnam includes the assembly of devices from the components obtained around the world, it does not seem that it will qualify it for a higher speed.
