Apple today released the third beta of the upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.3 update to developers, coming one week after Apple released the second beta.
Registered developers can sign up for the macOS Sequoia beta via the Software Update section of System Preferences. An Apple ID associated with an Apple developer account is required to receive the beta.
macOS Sequoia 15.3 introduces Genmoji on Mac, a feature previously only available on iPhone and iPad. With Genmoji, Mac users can create custom characters using a text prompt, similar to how Image Playground works. Genmoji characters behave like emoji on devices running iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, and later, but on earlier iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and Android devices, Genmoji are sent as images. can be added from the emoji interface, and image creation is done on-device.
All Apple-powered Mac computers support Genmoji and other Apple Intelligence features.
