A week after updating the App Store Connect for iOS with a new look, Apple has released an update to the Apple Developer app for iPhone and iPad. The new version brings support for the dark and tinted icon in iOS 18, along with some other improvements.
What's New in Apple Developer 10.7 for iOS
According to the release notes, version 10.7 of the Apple Developer app for iOS introduces a new option that lets users choose between grid and list views for videos in a topic or event. The update also adds an indicator to let users know when a video has been fully viewed.
However, one of the most noticeable changes is definitely the support for a dark and tinted icon for devices running iOS 18 and later.
For those unfamiliar, the Apple Developer app helps developers stay up-to-date with news and videos about Apple platforms. The company also uses the app to stream WWDC sessions.
Last week, Apple also updated the App Store Connect for iOS with a new interface and new features, including an option that generates assets for promoting apps on social networks like Instagram. This update to App Store Connect follows a major update to TestFlight last month, which also introduced a new app design.
