Apple Card has expanded its Daily Cash scheme to include two new partners. Apple Card holders can now earn 3% Daily Cash Back when they book prepaid car rentals or holidays on Booking.com, or when they charge their car at eligible ChargePoint stations.
Purchases of ChargePoint home electric chargers will also qualify for an increased 3% Cash Back. In addition, Booking.com will offer 2% in travel credits on hotel stays and car rentals (more details here).
Typically, the Apple Card offers 2% Daily Cash back on online or contactless transactions using Apple Pay, or 1% on transactions using the physical titanium card. The increased 3% Apple Pay cash back is available at select retailers, including purchases of Apple hardware and services.
Booking and ChargePoint join other partners like Uber, T-Mobile, and Walgreens that are already participating in the 3% Daily Cash scheme.
Currently, the Apple Card is operated by Apple in partnership with Goldman Sachs, which serves as the issuing bank. However, Apple and Goldman Sachs are expected to part ways in the near future as Goldman exits consumer finance entirely. Apple is reportedly currently in talks with other banks to acquire Apple Card.
