The Weeknd: Open Hearts, an immersive music experience exclusive to Apple Vision Pro, debuts, and Concert for One series premiere date announced.
In Open Hearts, viewers follow The Weeknd on a journey through a surreal cityscape. Fans can book a demo of Apple Vision Pro at Apple Stores beginning November 15. The experience is also available for free through the Apple TV app on Vision Pro.
Directed by Anton Tammi, Open Hearts draws inspiration from the downtown Los Angeles skyline to create a surreal cityscape for The Weeknd to journey through. Tammi previously directed the music video for Hurry Up Tomorrow’s lead single, “Dancing In the Flames,” which was shot entirely on iPhone 16 Pro Max and edited on Mac.
“Apple Immersive Video brings The Weeknd’s creative vision to life in an entirely new way with Open Hearts, a groundbreaking musical experience only available on Apple Vision Pro,” said Tor Myren, Apple’s vice president of Marketing Communications. “With Vision Pro, fans will be able to experience storytelling in ways never before possible, with immersive visuals and spatial audio that will put them at the heart of the action.”
Next up, Concert for One, a new music experience, debuts worldwide on November 22. The release features BRIT Award-winning singer RAYE, who performs an intimate set recorded at London’s Air Studios with her 20-piece band, mixing R&B, jazz and pop.
The performance will also be released as a Spatial Audio EP, exclusively on Apple Music, offering listeners a detailed audio experience.
