The specially designed Glyde Pop-Up Charging Station is a great way to charge all of your small Apple devices.

Charging stations allow you to do more with fewer wires, and this station saves space by being pop-up. In a way, it’s the spiritual successor to the MagSafe Duo, or TwelveSouth’s version of the 2-in-1 MagSafe design.

Journey is an Australian consumer technology company that specializes in chargers and cases. One of its latest creations is the Glyde 4-in-1 Portable Charging Station.

The charging station features a nice gray and white color scheme with metallic accents for the adjustable Apple Watch charger. The rounded corners and overall design are aesthetically pleasing next to your Apple devices.

By sliding the top half to the right, you can lift the Apple Watch charger and place your watch, iPhone, and AirPods on their respective charging surfaces. It also has a 10,000 mAh battery, so you can reliably fully charge your devices without having to plug in the dock.

The USB-C port on the back is both an input and output port for charging and supports pass-through charging when the battery is low. It’s also Qi2 certified, so it charges your Apple Watch and AirPods quickly.

Glyde 4-in-1 Portable Charging Station – Use

This charging station is great as a bedside table, but it works best when you use it on the go. I often need to charge my Apple Watch in the middle of the day, and this wireless thing makes the process much more enjoyable.

Even in offices and libraries, wall ports can be hard to find, but knowing that the 10,000mAh capacity can fully reliably charge my devices is a huge plus on a busy day.

It’s not the fastest charger, though. At 15W, wireless charging takes about two hours to charge my iPhone from 0 to 100%, but the convenience of wireless charging is still worth it for me.

In a pinch, this is a good way to top up your iPad; it can take my iPad Pro from 10% to 43% when fully charged. I wouldn’t recommend it as a high-power charger, but it’s good for smaller devices.

The charging station doesn't fit in your pocket, but it does fit in a small bag or backpack.

One of the things about the sheer matte finish is that it tends to pick up small marks and smudges, but these can be wiped off for the most part. The build quality is solid, though, with no chipping or damage from constant wear and use.

The retractable lid, overall design, and adaptability as both a charging station and a battery pack make this a great choice for portable charging. I carry it in my bag almost every day, charging it along with my other devices at night.

At $169, it may seem like a steep price to pay, but it pays off with a sleek, efficient design and reliable on-the-go charging for all your most-used devices.
