Classic Sniper Elite 4 Coming to Mac and iOS for the Holidays

Rebellion is finally bringing tactical shooter Sniper Elite 4 to Mac, iPhone and iPad. just seven years after its initial release.

It was confirmed with a trailer on Wednesday that “Sniper Elite 4” will be ported to Apple platforms. For the first time, players of the famous shooter will be able to play the game while on the go.

In a blog post detailing the release, Rebellion writes that the game will be playable this holiday season. It will be able to run on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, as well as any iPad or Mac running an Apple Silicon M-series chip.

The World War II sniper experience takes the player to 1943 Italy. Playing as Karl Fairbairn, they must use a range of authentic weapons to defeat the new Nazi threat.

The game is best known for its “X-Ray Murder Camera” “, which shows an internal view of enemies hit by bullets.

Cross-save support is promised for Apple equipment. While touch controls will be available, players will also be able to use external controllers.

Sniper Elite 4 has already been played by over 30 million players worldwide and was nominated for a BAFTA Award.
