Apple did not tell how she shoots immersive video for Apple Vision Pro, but photos from an MLS game showed what cameras she's using.

There have been previous reports of a VR camera being demonstrated on an Apple TV+ show. However, much clearer images of the cameras, as well as notes about their placement, have now been shown on Reddit by user Joe-notabot.

Full details of the rig from the report are unclear. One of the photos shows a Dionic 26V 98 battery from Anton Bauer. It's a high-capacity 98Wh lithium-ion battery that typically retails for over $700.

Apple reportedly had eight cameras at the MLS match — between Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders — about half of them are in fixed positions. Two of them were reported to be close to the goal and on a raised platform just inside the six-yard box.

Each camera was placed above the players' bench, on the raised center line of the aisle behind the fans. , and close to the sideline. The other three were mobile and carried by operators.

Operators who did not discuss their work changed memory cards during the break.

Apple is probably still experimenting with recording sports broadcasts in this format. For now, only short videos featuring exciting sports videos have been released.
