Apple Vision Pro owners complain of headaches, neck problems and dark circles under the eyes

According to a report from MarketWatch, some Apple Vision Pro owners are experiencing health problems related to wearing the headset. The site spoke with Vision Pro owners who experience, among other things, headaches and neck pain.


Emily Allman, director of marketing at Hopscotch Interactive, said that after using the Vision Pro for the first time, she developed two “super dark black eyes,” likely due to the heaviness on her cheeks. Ian Beecraft, CEO of consulting firm Signal, told MarketWatch that he has pain in the base of his skull and upper back.

There have also been complaints about the Vision Pro on Reddit from users experiencing persistent headaches. eye strain and pain from the weight of the device. Some users have had luck with modified bands and third-party products, while others have no problems with the default headset and band options.

Apple declined to comment on customer complaints, referring MarketWatch to its user. guidelines. Apple recommends taking a break from using the headset every 20 to 30 minutes during the acclimatization period, and stopping use of the headset if you feel unwell. Apple does not recommend that people who experience eye strain, headaches, or pain continue to use the device.
