Apple has released an additional update to the public for VisionOS, while apparently re-releasing the beta -VisionOS 1.2 version for developers.
The Apple Vision Pro update to VisionOS 1.1.2 represents an incremental change to the headset's operating system. Tuesday's release follows a similar detailed update to VisionOS 1.1 to 1.1.1 on March 21.
The new release build is numbered 21O231, replacing 21O224.
At the same time, Apple released an update to the current VisionOS 1.2 beta for developers, which was released on April 2. It seems that instead of a full second beta version, Apple is re-releasing the first build with minor changes.
The previous first build of VisionOS 1.2 had build number 21O5555e, and its replacement has build number 21O5555f.
It's unclear what exactly has changed in both builds, but the detailed update and minor tweaks in the beta indicate that it may be a very small or minor change overall. At least not one with features that the public would immediately notice.
