Apple today added the M3-powered iMac to its Certified Refurbished store in the US for the first time since the computer was introduced in October.
As is typical for refurbished Apple products, refurbished iMacs are discounted by approximately 15% compared to similar new models, with prices starting at $1,099. Available in a variety of configurations and color options.
All the usual accessories are included, including the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, power adapter and cord, and a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Apple says it subjects refurbished Macs to “full functional testing” and “thorough cleaning and inspection” and are backed by Apple's one-year limited warranty and eligible for extended AppleCare+ coverage.
In our opinion, refurbished Macs from Apple are virtually indistinguishable from brand new ones, which provides a good opportunity to save money directly from Apple. However, sometimes you can get deeper discounts from resellers like Amazon.
Apple recently began selling refurbished MacBook Pro models with the M3 chip, as well as later models with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips.
