I've been using the magnetic leather back for a few days now and I really like it.
Magnetic mount is a real pleasure – easy to turn on, easy to take off. Micro suction cups mean you don't have to deal with glue, and there's no slipping or twisting that would likely occur if the attachment was just MagSafe.
You can reactivate the grip at any time micro suction cups by wiping them with a damp towel.

The magnetic leather back is a little thicker than leather leather, but it's also very thin and practically does not add thickness.
It is also tougher and more durable than adhesive leather.
Horween leather is very soft right out of the box and develops a rich patina over time. I really like that you get better hand feel and protection when you put your iPhone down (including the camera guard) and it looks stylish.
