An insider claims that Apple is debating what colors to use for the iPhone 16 and has decided not to use red or green.

The tipster who was wrong about the iPhone 15 Ultra and its two selfie cameras but right about the green iPhone 15 claims to have information about the new colors. The source says the selection is still being finalized, but Apple has at least narrowed down its plans.

Or rather, according to rumors, it was so. Unusually for the leader of Majin Boo, this latest report is qualified with the words: “Do not consider this information to be 100% accurate or real, it is just a rumor.”

With that disclaimer, Majin Boo starts by saying that the two new colors could be “Desert Yellow”, also known as “Desert Titan”, and Cement Grey. also known as “Cement Grey”. Titanium grey. The current iPhone 15 Pro lineup includes one called Natural Titanium, but the rest have simple colors like Blue Titanium rather than more descriptive ones like “Space Black.”

The insider says that other colors are being discussed, but claims that the rumors about them are somehow less credible. Later in the X/Twitter thread, the poster adds more information.

As for Majin Boo stressing that the news is just a rumor, the host adds that “from what I understand, there is a possibility that only one of these colors is approved.”

Majin Boo hasn't had a good reputation lately when it comes to Apple leaks. However, his or her latest claim that the iPhone 16 has a vertical camera layout appears to have been backed up by other sources — but they were not even close to the first to make this observation.
