On February 2, Microsoft will release PowerPoint, Excel and Word for Apple Vision Pro, making Microsoft 365 one of the first apps available for Apple's spatial computing headset.

Apple Vision Pro's immersive environment makes working with documents even easier by helping users block out distractions, according to Microsoft. Immersive environments allow users to fine-tune their mixed reality experience by blending the view of their local environment with a virtual one.

A special immersive environment was developed for PowerPoint. This new environment allows users to practice their presentations as if they were practicing in front of an audience.

Microsoft says users will be able to change the way they use Excel and “quickly display the most complex formulas, charts and tables, and use the power of Excel and Apple Vision Pro to analyze, manipulate and visualize data.”

Microsoft Teams is also preparing for Apple Vision Pro. Users can meet, chat, call and collaborate using Apple Vision Pro. Additionally, Teams video calls will use the Persona feature to accurately represent the user's face while wearing the headset.

Finally, Microsoft mentions that its chatbot service Copilot will also be coming to Apple Vision Pro.
