Apple's TestFlight on Mac and iPhone

Apple has made it clear that regardless Whether or not the developer decides to sell or distribute the application in the European Union, TestFlight's beta distribution system will remain available.
A number of questions and disputes have already arisen regarding Apple's concessions regarding changes to the European Union Digital Markets Act regarding the App Store. Apple was aware of this and held an additional briefing on Friday afternoon.
Most of what has been discussed has already been gleaned from existing, albeit few at the moment, supporting documents for developers. However, one point was less clear – — the fate of TestFlight for developers who do not use the App Store for distribution.
At this briefing, the company made it clear that TestFlight is a feature of Xcode rather than the App Store. It will remain available regardless of location or distribution method.
As Apple says: “TestFlight makes it easy to invite users to test your apps and app clips and gather valuable feedback before releasing your apps to the App Store.”
Up to 100 internal testers and 10,000 external users can test the application. Builds can be shared via email or by sharing a public link. Builds are stored on the user's device for 90 days without being downloaded again, but the build can be “expired” by the developer in advance.
