Another Verizon price increase is coming

With Smart Plan price changes coming Verizon hours will increase from $10 to $15 per month for most plans. Verizon notes that if your Apple Watch plan currently includes a discount, such as a 50% discount for Unlimited Plus and Ultimate plan customers, the price increase will reflect that discount.

In the email that will be sent today, Verizon says the price increase will allow the company to “continue to improve”; its service. Changes will take effect June 3:

To continue improving our industry-leading network and services, prices for some Smartwatch data plans will change as of June 3, 2024. In addition to all the watch plans that give you the freedom to stay connected, shared number unlimited plans now also include unlimited call, text, and data to, from, and within Canada and Mexico.

Each line of watches will increase in price by $5 per month*. If any of your viewing lines include a discount, such as a 50% discount on connected devices on our current Unlimited Plus and Ultimate plans, that discount will remain and be applied to the new prices.

Possible Situation made worse by the fact that the price increase on Verizon's smartwatch plans comes just a month after the company also raised prices on other plans.
