Use Apple Watch BackTrack to view your steps

on the Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Se and Apple Watch Series 6 and later models that work Watchos 9 or more new, you can use the BackTrack function of the Compass application to track your route, and then help you view your steps if you are lost.


BackTrack uses GPS on its apple watches to create a virtual bread track on your route, so you No need to worry about tracking where you are going. According to Apple, Backtrack is designed for use in remote settings, far from familiar places such as your house either in the workplace, and outside densely populated areas without Wi-Fi, but nothing prevents you from using it wherever you need it.

The following steps show you how to use this function. Please note that Backtrack does not take into account external conditions, such as changes in height or objects in the environment. Now the ignited Return button in the right of the lower part of the screen, then click Stepse stps .

  • The path back to the location, where you first pressed the tracking button will appear on the screen, while the initial location appears as a white point at the beginning of the way. Follow the way back to return to where you first turned on the reverse transition. Get up, then click Chevron to return to the list of actions. Then just click the Action button to start the reverse transition and click the “Recording Way”. You can simultaneously press the action buttons and side buttons to switch between the recording of your path and re -processing your steps. Click on the link to find out more.
