Tweet asked for simple financing: after two hours it existed

Every day it seems that hundreds of applications related to finances fall into the application store. Some are focused on budgeting, others on points on a credit card, investing or even trying to do all this. Scrolling X, I came across a tweet from someone, who said that he just wants to finance the application that was tracking three things: what they spent today, this week and this month. The idea was so simple, but so valuable. A few hours later, I saw that the developer Stephen Zhang really built it. In just two hours. Here it is. What and the original tweet that came out, this application remains true to its minimalist role. The idea here is just to look at what you spent in the past day, last week and last month. I like to think about myself as a person who is at the top of their personal finances. I have a ton of various tracking applications that are automated, but then I have a Google sheet as a backup, where I manually enter all my money that is incoming and output, up to the transaction. I do this so that I have quick access to make sure that my expenses are in a pace with my budgets. I think this application will replace how I manually track finances.

The name of the game here is simplicity and adding meaning. The steps are as follows:

  • When you open the application, you are invited to connect a credit or debit card.
  • You will go into your account of the card
  • instant panel, and then filled out by your data on expenses
  • and completed

As you can see above, there are three different values that are your daily, weekly and monthly indicators. You can use each of them and get your separate transaction data, which is nice. The only other options that you have is the “Settings” menu. You can decide on the inclusion of FACEID, delete your account and change the calculations of the period of time using skiing or fixed. I personally like it fixed, so I know my monthly expenses. One of the huge advantages for me is that this application takes into account waiting transactions of credit cards, which is something that many other applications do not!

I talked with the developers, and there are several things here. Firstly, now the application can track only one credit or debit card, but there will be an update where you can add other cards and accounts to have a holistic idea of all your expenses. Finally, there will be an update that also turns it into a widget, and this is what excites me the most.

I think this is a great idea, a simple way to see what you spent this month. Most people know how much money they earn in their heads, but it is difficult to track how much money you spent in your head. So, if you know that you earn $ 2,000 a month, and the Big Numbers appendix says that you spent $ 1,500, then, at first glance, you know that you saved $ 500! For me, this is enough for me to be as the main stay in my collection of financial applications.

Let me know what you think? Would you use this application? Would you pay for this? Let's discuss below! Be sure to follow Stephen Zhang to get updates of progress in real time, I will definitely be!
